I'm Kurt, the founder of Blackrush and the artist behind every design. I served in the US Army as an infantryman with two tours in Iraq, then spent fifteen years in IT, where I got sharp at coding, scripting, and building things that actually work. I put all of it into this: I hand-draw every design, and I built every internal system Blackrush runs on from the ground up. Everything I draw comes from the life I actually live. Fishing, hunting, the military, guns, Florida, the outdoors, and everything in between. This isn't a brand I studied, it's the stuff I love put onto what I make. The art is self-taught, the discipline is not. It's one person doing the work most brands outsource, because I wanted it done right.

I'm Heather, co-founder of Blackrush. I do this full time while also working full time in real estate and being a full-time mom, which tells you everything about how much I love it. I taught myself the entire operation from the ground up: printing, pressing, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, all the parts nobody sees but everything depends on. Kurt dreams it up and draws it, and I turn it into something real that shows up at your door. Outside of all that, my time goes to my family, the water, and living life to the fullest.
